Children and sausages sizzle!

Wow, what a glorious day today. It was so nice to see so many parents able to visit our new school. The children were all so excited to share with you the beautiful Van Asch site.
We were also very lucky today to have a visit from non-fiction author Maria Gill who shared some of her books with us.
And Wednesdays don't get any better when a sausage sizzle is on offer at lunch, yum! Thank you to our wonderful PTA.

Adventures at Van Asch.

Wow, what an amazing first day! There was great excitement at the start of the day and especially when we toured our new grounds and saw the field. We (the children!) had a run and got very out of breath! We are loving the sunshine all day and the playgrounds right outside.
Here's just a few pictures of our first day including A's family news and the first lost tooth at our new school!
Don't forget there's a free sausage sizzle tomorrow for all the children and our open afternoon for all parents.

All the way to the big tree... and back!

Snow days!

What fun to bounce on a snowy trampoline R and T! Awesome picture, thanks.

Another fantastic snowman, M. I'm glad he has gloves on to keep warm. A great family picture too!

Thanks C for this awesome picture of you having super fun in the snow with your brothers! What a great snowman!

I hope you all have had fun in the snow today. We went for a walk to the beach and my boys built a snowman. How strange to see a snowman on the beach! What did you get up to today?
Email me a picture of your fun in the snow and I will add it to our blog.

All of the teachers today went over to Van Asch school to look at our new classrooms. Room 15 have a super new space right next door to the awesome Room 16. We even have 2 lots of playground equipment right outside!
Here are just a few pictures of our space.

The room is currently occupied by an axylotyl! Wouldn't it be fun if he stayed!

Week one

First of all....some missing pictures! My missing file of photos has surfaced. Here are a few pictures of our lovely children at the end of Term 2. What a good job they had their pjs on, as they are all so tired!

A warm welcome too, to Lachlan and his family to our class. We are looking forward to getting to know you over the next few weeks.
As you now know, we will be making our move to Van Asch School at the end of week 3. It will be exciting to have our own classroom space and the beautiful grounds to use. I will visit the school soon and post some pictures of our new space.
Last week, our children were lucky enough to receive a box of Toy Story lego each from the Salvation army. It so lovely that we are still on peoples' minds.

Term 3

Hi all,
it is so great to see all of you back at school this week. Welcome back to Marley and his family after a lovely long break in Scotland and Ireland. Please make sure that you are checking the school websites and any emails about changes to our situation.

Apologies for the lack of photographs on this post...I was unable to access the blog at school and the file I sent home did not arrive! Keep checking as I am working to sort this out!
