There's something in the water...

What an awesome, but tiring first week at Aquagym. Well done everyone. I have been very proud of the way you have been listening so well to your group teachers and your manners and behaviour on the buses. you all deserved an extra long weekend, I hope you all had fun!
Well done and a big thank you to all our families...we sent in an amazing order for $408 worth of calendars and cards!
Here are a few pictures from our week, including the Star of the Sea School production on Tuesday and Renee's tadpoles that she bought in for her mystery news.

Here comes summer!

Well Term 4 has certainly started with some awesome summer weather for us to enjoy. We have a full and fun filled term ahead of us with Aquagym, calendar making, Beach Ed and a summer outing. Remember Term 4 is hat term, no hat, no play. It is also a good idea for children to apply sunscreen in the mornings and perhaps have a small tube handy in their bags.
Next week the children begin their 2 weeks at Aquagym. We will be in the final session at 10:30 each day. We would love to see any parents that can make it to come and watch or help a little in the first few days with dressing! As busy as our term is, if you would like to pop in at any time to provide parent help, let me know. You could email me the day before to see if you can help in anyway.
Keep an eye on the important term dates, we will keep you posted on any other items.

The Best Day Ever!

Well, it finally arrived! Our Celebration Day was able to go ahead on Friday, despite the wet weather on Thursday and what a day it was!
Room 15 kicked off with a great bounce on 2 bouncy castles that we shared with Room 16. We then all had a ride on the ponies. Some were a little nervous at the start but were soon keen to ride the biggest pony! Another bounce then we finished the day on the awesome Screamer Slide!

Sweets for my sweets!

Yum! This week just kept getting better and better. A huge thank you to the amazing Team 3 who ran their annual Shop Day on Friday. So many yummy goodies to choose from. What was your favourite?
Well done to all the children too who have been amazing at adjusting to our new school. I am so impressed and proud of you all.
I am looking forward to sharing all the wonderful learning you have all done with your parents on Wednesday and Thursday.
On Monday you will take home your writing book to share at home. We would love you to think of 2 stars (things super awesome about you writing) and one wish (a goal) together about your writing.
Here are a few mouth watering pictures from shop day!

Children and sausages sizzle!

Wow, what a glorious day today. It was so nice to see so many parents able to visit our new school. The children were all so excited to share with you the beautiful Van Asch site.
We were also very lucky today to have a visit from non-fiction author Maria Gill who shared some of her books with us.
And Wednesdays don't get any better when a sausage sizzle is on offer at lunch, yum! Thank you to our wonderful PTA.

Adventures at Van Asch.

Wow, what an amazing first day! There was great excitement at the start of the day and especially when we toured our new grounds and saw the field. We (the children!) had a run and got very out of breath! We are loving the sunshine all day and the playgrounds right outside.
Here's just a few pictures of our first day including A's family news and the first lost tooth at our new school!
Don't forget there's a free sausage sizzle tomorrow for all the children and our open afternoon for all parents.

All the way to the big tree... and back!
